Hey guess what bitches Poland had a general election last Sunday and we said “fuck you” to the current fascist Orban-wannabes en masse, in a record-breaking historic turnout of 74% (that’s a better turnout than the 1989 election which toppled the Soviet regime), with people of all ages standing in lines till 3 am to vote, young people actually outnumbering the elderly for the first time ever; and the result is that the progressive pro-EU coalition won and will form the next government. Been in in a stunned-but-celebratory mood since Sunday night.
i have it on good authority from someone whose statements i trust that there are actually people out there who want to scrub all mention of sex out of media. and that all those posts celebrating sex scenes in movies aren’t “i LOVE formulaic hetero man-on-top PIV scenes that are interchangeable between movies, you will complain about the identical framing/music/lighting over MY DEAD BODY”. so i do try to be charitable. but by god some posts make it difficult
i was today years old when i learned that paris hilton’s parents had had her “legally kidnapped” to one FOUR? of those troubled teen abuse centers. i don’t know much about her as a person but that adds context to how the media talks about her huh
